The golden days of September are upon us and as the evenings cool a sense of relief comes after the hot days of summer. Putting on a cosy sweater for the first time and making yourself a cup of evening chamomile tea are welcome treats that give us a hint of the cooler weather to come. This is a time of ripening, elder berries await harvesting to be made into syrup and soon it will be time to start harvesting roots for medicine.
Events to look forward to this fall:

~On October 4th you can find me at Fungus Fest in Cumberland
“Delve into the marvellous world of medicinal mushrooms with community/clinical herbalist Philippa Joly. Together we will meet and make tea with some local fungi and learn about how they and some of their plant and lichen friends can keep us and our loved ones healthy through the winter months and beyond.”
